Install Condui as an app
Install Condui as a PWA on iPad, Android, and desktop.
A PWA (Progressive Web App) is the web version of Condui that you can install as an app on your device. You get its own icon and window. After visiting Condui online once, it can also open without an internet connection for locally stored work. The app updates itself automatically and synchronizes your cloud projects.
Open Condui online first, then install it through the browser menu. In Condui itself, this appears as Menu > Install for offline use when the browser supports the feature.
A PWA is still a website in an app window. Offline work therefore applies to what is already available locally. Cloud projects, synchronization, and other features that need a connection work again once you are online. See Local and cloud projects for the differences.
iPad
Chrome
:ui-icon[pwa-share] Open Condui in Chrome, tap Share to the right of the address bar, and choose Add to Home Screen. Change the name if you want, then tap Add.
Firefox
:ui-icon[pwa-share] Open Condui in Firefox, tap the Share icon in the address bar, choose Add to Home Screen, and tap Add in the top right.
Safari
:ui-icon[pwa-share] Open Condui in Safari, tap Share, then More, and choose Add to Home Screen. Turn on Open as Web App, then tap Add.
Android
Chrome
:ui-icon[pwa-menu] Open Condui in Chrome and tap More to the right of the address bar. Choose Add to home screen, then Install. In some Chrome versions, Install appears directly in the menu.
Firefox
:ui-icon[pwa-menu] Open Condui in Firefox and tap More. Choose Install. Drag the icon to the desired place or tap Add automatically.
Desktop

:ui-icon[pwa-menu] Open Condui in Chrome. Choose More > Cast, save, and share > Install page as app, then confirm with Install. If the :ui-icon[pwa-install] icon appears in the address bar, you can click it instead.
Firefox
:ui-icon[pwa-firefox-taskbar] In Firefox for Windows, click the Add tab to taskbar icon in the address bar. Firefox opens Condui in its own web app window and adds a shortcut to the taskbar and Start menu. Click Yes if Firefox asks whether to pin the app to the taskbar.
Safari
:ui-icon[pwa-share] On a Mac with macOS Sonoma 14 or later, open Condui in Safari. Choose File > Add to Dock, or click Share in the toolbar and choose Add to Dock. Click Add.
