Draw mode

Create or extend one-wire connections when the schematic editing workflow exposes draw mode.

Draw mode is for connection-oriented one-wire editing. Use it when you need to create or extend schematic paths rather than only drag existing symbols.

Basic Loop

1. Enter draw mode from the one-wire canvas tools.
2. Start from the relevant existing object or connection point.
3. Add the next segment or connected object.
4. Keep the structure readable before adding detailed properties.
5. Exit draw mode.
6. Select the new objects and fill in labels, cable data, protection data, or endpoint details.

Validate after structural edits

Changing schematic structure can affect endpoint counts, protection relationships, panel supply logic, tally, and PDF output.
