Versions
Use the versions surface to inspect saved project states and understand what changed over time.
Versions help you understand the project timeline. Depending on account and cloud access, the surface can show saved states, authors, timestamps, labels, and actions for viewing or restoring earlier versions.
What To Review
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Version label | The saved state name or generated description. |
| Author | The user or system actor that created the version. |
| Timestamp | When the version was saved. |
| Action controls | View, restore, discard, or related actions where the current workflow allows them. |
Recommended Use
- Open project management.
- Go to versions.
- Read the timeline from newest to oldest.
- View a previous version before restoring it.
- Re-run validation after restoring or comparing important states.
Screenshots use synthetic versions
The docs generator captures versions through /demo/manage, not through a real account. That keeps project names, authors, and timestamps predictable and safe for publication.
