PDF export
Generate printable project documentation from one-wire diagrams, situation plans, panel grids, and legends.
PDF export turns the project into printable documentation. Run validation and review the hardware tally before treating an export as ready for review.
What You Can Include
| Export section | Source |
|---|---|
| One-wire diagrams | One-wire canvas scene providers |
| Situation plans | Plan canvas floors, backgrounds, walls, and endpoint placements |
| Panel grids | Panel canvas layout |
| Panel circuit legends | Panel and circuit data derived from the project |
| Editable project copy | Export option where product access and output mode allow it |
Export Checklist
- Open PDF export.
- Choose which canvases or sections to include.
- Review the generated page count.
- Choose the export theme.
- Check whether editable PDF or project-copy behavior is enabled.
- Confirm any daily export limit or limited/offline export message.
- Export the PDF.
- Use re-export when you need the latest settings again.
Include the plan when placement matters
If the project uses quick placer or physical endpoint placement, include the situation plan pages. A one-wire-only export will not show where those endpoints are located.
Screenshots should show the export dialog
The learning asset generator captures the PDF export dialog with canvas selection, editable PDF behavior, theme, page count, and export action. Use that screenshot for docs instead of hand-capturing a personal project.
