Rewire a cabinet

Panel modules, relationships, one-wire diagram, and validation.

:ui-icon[rewire] Rewire is an alternative way to adjust relationships in your system. You draw wires between modules in your cabinet, from source to target, just as you would install wires in reality. These changes appear in your one-wire diagram.

Before you start

1. Set a viewport to :ui-icon[canvas-panel] Panel View.
2. Choose the correct panel, or show all panels when changing a relationship between panels.
3. Rearrange the modules if needed by dragging them or using :ui-icon[auto-arrange] Auto arrange.

Adjust the relationship

1. Click :ui-icon[rewire] Rewire.
2. Select the source module and then the valid target that should receive the new relationship.
3. Repeat this for every relationship that must change.
4. Exit the mode with Esc or by clicking the icon again.

Check the result

1. Select the modules involved and check whether the yellow wiring looks correct.
2. Return to the One-Wire Diagram and check that the electrical structure still matches your intention.
3. Open :ui-icon[validation] AREI Validation and click Validate again.
4. Undo the change if a panel supply, protection, or circuit moved unexpectedly.

Work quickly

You can build your initial one-wire diagram quickly by using Condui on a tablet in front of your cabinet and recreating its exact structure. You do not need to translate the structure into a one-wire diagram yourself. Instead, you build a visual match.
